Willow Plant Support Workshop
A workshop where you will be guided to make your choice of a tall climbing plant tower or a plant support for tall flowers or cloche to try to keep the deer away from shorter plants. Class size will be ~ 6 students. Along the way you will learn about the types of willow and the tools you use to craft the plant support. Materials, tea & coffee provided.
Willow frame basket workshop
Treat yourself to a relaxing summer’s day to connect with your creative side and make a lovely basket for perhaps holding bread, fruit or even your phone & keys!
Learn to weave natural willow material choosing one of my dried willow frames as a start point, to craft a beautiful simple frame basket or platter of your own. Perfect for elegantly holding your bread, fruit, keys or tools.
This beginner workshop will be a max of 6 students, no willow experience needed but crafty hands would be ideal. Materials, tea, coffee and a light warm vegetarian lunch included (GF/Vegan option)
WILLOW ROUND BASKET OR TRAY 2 DAY WORKSHOP
Treat yourself to 2 day relaxing creative break! You will be able to create either a traditional round basket (6-12”) with/without handle or handle holes OR create a decorative and highly useful round tray (12-18”) with/without handle holes.
The baskets are decorative and useful for foraging or for storing things like your hats & gloves, tool or craft items or whatever needs gathering in your house.
The trays are marvellous for carrying food out to the garden for your bbq or hanging on a wall or as a table centrepiece.
This intermediate workshop will be a max of 6 students, some previous experience of willow weaving is ideally needed for a good result.
Materials, tea, coffee and a light warm vegetarian lunch included (GF/Vegan option).

There is time to create a frame basket with a handle, or perhaps two without a handle depending on your experience and the features you build in. Perfect for elegantly holding all kinds of things from bread to knitting, fruit to keys ….
This intermediate workshop will be a max of 6 students, some previous experience of willow weaving is needed for a good result, especially for a basket with a handle.
The August frame basket workshop is an ideal workshop for beginners to learn with before trying this workshop.

Round Shallow Tray Basket - January (sold out)
A workshop where you will be guided to make a round shallow tray basket using a variety of willow, with a flat base and wide border. The size will be diameter 10” to 18” (depending on your preference and speed) and <4” deep. Along the way you will learn about the types of willow and the tools you use to craft the basket. Materials, tea & coffee provided plus a light lunch to keep you going.
